Andy LaRocque is a guitar virtuoso known for his work with the legendary band King Diamond, considered one of the most influential musicians in the heavy metal scene.
His distinctive style, combining technical precision and characteristic melodies, shaped the sound of many classic albums of the genre, and has been and continues to be an inspiration for generations of guitarists.
In addition to his work with King Diamond, Andy LaRocque has participated in numerous projects, including what is certainly the most acclaimed of his achievements: his contribution to Death's album Individual Thought Patterns. He is also a highly regarded producer and sound engineer, and the owner of the renowned Sonic Train Studios in Sweden, where many important metal albums have been recorded.
Andy LaRocque recently joined ESP Guitars and has his own signature model, the ALR-II.
