Animator Natalia J. Smiechowicz at Guitar Expo!

17.11.2025

Natalia J. Smiechowicz is a versatile Polish artist - animator, illustrator and graphic and multimedia designer. For many years she has been working independently under the banner of N.STATION, under which she freely combines various forms of visual art into a coherent narrative.

Natalia's most recognizable area of work is animated music videos. Her career in this field began in 2017 with a video for the song "Direction Backwards" by Horrorscope - it was her first major project, which paved the way for collaborations with international artists. Since then, she has created more than 60 productions for performers from around the world, including bands such as Uriah Heep, Motörhead, Alcatrazz, Elegant Weapons, Girlschool, Dymytry and Crying Steel. Her work is characterized by a strong approach to visual storytelling - Natalia focuses not only on striking graphics, but also on emotion, drama and message, which means that her videos can be treated like short animated films.

Śmiechowicz's work does not go unnoticed - her productions have been presented at prestigious animation events. The artist's work could be admired, among others, at the O!PLA - Polish Animation and Animator Festivals. One example is her film "Dance of Frustration" (made for the band Snakebyte), which was included in the O!PLA 2025 program in the main competition.

In addition to animation, Natalia is also involved in design in the broadest sense - she creates logos, graphics for T-shirts, album covers and booklets, especially for the music industry. Her multimedia expertise also allows her to design set design, event multimedia, broadcast design elements, and film and television productions. As a result, her work extends beyond the music video itself to include the comprehensive creation of visual experiences.

Natalia Smiechowicz represents an important trend in Polish animation - animation that combines music and visual art in the form of music videos. Her works show how animation can have a narrative and emotional function, not just a decorative one. As an independent filmmaker, she also demonstrates that it is possible to be successful and gain international recognition without operating solely within the confines of large studios.

Natalia J. Smiechowicz will be present at Guitar Expo 2026! Her booth will be a great opportunity to learn more about her artistic techniques and musical sensibilities.
