Guitar World Record initiated by Leszek Cichoński becomes a partner of Guitar Expo
28.02.2026
The Guitar World Record is a unique event that has been bringing together thousands of guitarists from Poland and abroad for over two decades. Every year on May 1, professionals, amateurs, and enthusiasts of all ages meet in the heart of Wrocław to play the iconic song "Hey Joe" together and set a new world record.
It is not only an attempt to break a record, but also an all-day guitar festival with concerts by stars, workshops, jam sessions, and presentations by artists representing various styles—from rock and blues, through flamenco and jazz, to metal and classical music. The project, initiated by Leszek Cichoński, has become one of the most recognizable musical symbols of Wrocław and a celebration of the guitar community and the idea of Uni-Vibe (Uniting Vibration of Music), i.e., the unifying vibration of music that brings people together across divisions, language, age, and skill level.
During Guitar Expo, we invite you to visit the Guitar World Record stand, where the organizers will explain how to join the Record, how to become a partner of the event, and how to work together to create the largest guitar community.
