Workshop: "A Not-Quite-Conventional Approach to Recording Guitars"

Adrian Janicki is a sound engineer and producer from Łódź. He works at ESS Audio, where he is responsible for studio equipment and artist collaborations. He will lead a workshop A Not-So-Conventional Approach to Recording Guitars during Guitar Expo!

Usually, everyone wants to show in workshops what the easiest way is to achieve a great guitar sound. But what about those who are searching for their own path and a less conventional approach? This workshop is for them. We’ll take a creative look at how to use familiar tools available to everyone—guitars, microphones, speakers, audio interfaces, and DAW software—and perhaps achieve an interesting effect that’s something different, something uniquely ours. If you have any stories of your own involving unusual recordings, we can also try them out live.

The workshop will take place on March 29 at 10:00 a.m. in the WORKSHOP SALA D room during Guitar Expo!
